Kailey Maternity Shoot

Now that I have been a photographer for a few years, I can honestly say that one of my favourite types of shoots to take part in is maternity. Although I've taken lots of great photos, there is something beautiful about an expecting mother that seems to shine through each shot. 

Originally this shoot was supposed to include Kailey, her husband Will and their daughter. Unfortunately plans didn't work and Will couldn't make it out but we decided to continue with it anyways and I'm glad we did. 

For this maternity session, we wanted it to be surrounded by with nature so we headed just outside Aylmer to a local conservation area. It was pretty overgrown and not how I remembered it from before but the long grass and thick brush only enhanced the pictures.
